Pennyfeathers is a specialist skin clinic in Jersey offering advanced, results-driven skincare treatments in a calm, professional setting. Known for our signature Pennyfeathers Protocol Facial and IvanMed Microneedling, I focus on improving skin health, texture and long-term results through personalised care.
Each treatment begins with an in-depth consultation and skin analysis, allowing me to tailor every facial or procedure to individual concerns. My approach combines evidence-based techniques, professional-grade products and clinical expertise rather than one-size-fits-all treatments.
Alongside advanced facials and microneedling, I provide professional electrolysis hair removal, cryo surgery using FreezePen for skin tags and benign lesions, waxing and lash and brow tinting.

Penny Downes
Proprietor of Pennyfeathers, Penny Downes, left Braintree College, Essex in 2002 to work in a West London Spa where she learnt the art of beauty therapy and customer care with a very demanding clientele. This set Penny up with the experience and knowledge that has made her the therapist she is today.
Moving to Jersey in 2004 and initially working in a popular salon in the east of the island, she decided to go it alone and formed Pennyfeathers in 2007.
“My passion, constant thirst for knowledge and experience has enabled me to grow the business and enjoy every moment of it. I pride myself on being a competent all round therapist but particularly I specialise in facials, electrolysis, advance electrolysis procedures and am known as the fastest waxer in town!”
Penny holds a Level 5 in Asethetic Practice which is the highest qualification a Non Medic Skin Techinican can hold.
